Enchanting Meghalaya Escape – Shillong & Guwahati

On the way visit Elephant Falls and Dwan Sing Syiem view point for breathtaking view of the hills. On arrival in Cherrapunjee visit Noh kalikai falls, Nohsngithiang falls (Seven Sister falls), Mawsmai limestone caves and Eco park. The water falls generally go dry in winter. Later you are driven back to Shillong. Evening free for leisure. You have an option of going for shopping at Police Bazar on own. Overnight at the hotel in Shillong.

(Distance: Dawki to Shillong - 95 kms. / Driving Time: 3.30 hrs.) After an early breakfast you would be driven to Mawlynnong famous as “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. It offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later you would be driven to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. From here enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening you would be driven back to Shillong.
